The moment your little one comes into this world, you the parent begin teaching, nurturing, protecting and guiding them.  Most parents immediately begin talking to their baby as soon as they are out of the womb.   Parents are the first teachers in the life of their child.  Your child will learn many things from you!  Be positive, be patient, and be aware.

Talk to your child's doctor if you notice any possible developmental delays and local your Early Intervention Program
(Birth to 3 years old) for your state.
 
If your child is 3 years old, contact your local public school and discuss your concerns and ask for an evaluation to be completed on your child.
